The Schwings

Music, performed by trio, the Schwings, will carry listener to the 1930s. The band plays Swing, Gypsy and Hot Jazz styles. Improvisation, tinctured with warm, acoustic, rhythm-based tones, is the cornerstone of these genres. Trio’s repertoire includes original compositions, also interpretations of Django Reinhardt, Duke Ellington, Sydney Bechet and other well known jazz musicians music of the era. Instrumentalists of the trio are excellent jazz musicians of the new generation, actively performing in Lithuania, as well as abroad.
