Salt Camel Project

Salt Camel Project unites four young and progressive musicians: Jānis Fedotovs – vibrophone, Svens Vilsons – guitar, Alberts Levics – bass, Mikus Bāliņš – drums. Every musician in his everyday life is connected not only to jazz music, but also classical, r’n’b, rock n’pop and other styles which makes bands sound new and unique. The band has performed in many cities all over Latvia and has given concerts in most jazziest places like “Artelis” and Students Club of Latvian Academy of Music. Each bands member is constantly educating himself by attending workshops and concerts of world famous musicians. The band’s influences are: Aaron Parks, Robert Glasper, Eric Harland, AvishaiCohen, Gary Burton and etc.
