Kilian Sladek

Jazz vocalist, composer, lyricist and vocalese-performer from Munich. He first learned classical trumpet and traditional Bavarian brass-music, until finally discovered jazz. His first personal contact with jazz music was at his high school big band. Since then big band music is his beloved field.

After 2 years of his Bachelors Degree in Jazz-Singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich, he decided to study abroad for one year in Rīga, Latvia in order to experience the intercultural aspects of jazz. His debut album “Fading into Life” with original compositions is scheduled to be released.
